Optometrist - Eye Doctor
Dr. David Coward has been practicing optometry in North Carolina (NC) since 2005 when the Optometric Eye Site was first conceived. We now proudly offer three conviently located Eye Care Clinics in Durham, Morrisville and Henderson.
Dr. Coward received his Bachelor of Science degree in 2000 from The University of Toronto. In 2004, Dr. Coward graduated Cum Laude with a Doctor of Optometry degree from the Illinois College of Optometry. In addition to completing three internships, Dr. Coward completed a residency in Refractive and Ocular Surgery studying along side with one of the premier corneal specialists in the nation.
Dr. Coward practices general optometry. He has extensive experience with advanced contact lenses and enjoys challenging contact lens fits. His work with post-corneal surgery patients as a resident at the Wang Vision Institute allowed him to develop the knowledge and diagnostic skills necessary for managing difficult contact lens cases and other complex eye issues.
